We are receiving a considerable number of calls now for wasps, but are you certain they are wasps and not bees?
It has been well publicised that bees are having a tough time at the moment; it is, therefore, important that a correct identification of so-called wasps is carried out. As a responsible pest control company we do not treat bees. If bees do become a problem in your home then we advise you to contact a bee keeper.
Once you have established that wasps are present, can you see them flying in and out of an entrance hole? If so, there is likely to be a wasp nest near the entrance hole.
Are wasps active on shrubs or trees? If so, the likelihood is that they are feeding on the sap of the leaves. If this is the case there will be no nest to treat, but you may want to consider wasp traps.
If you are in any doubt whatsoever, please just give us a call and we will offer you the appropriate advice.
